Avjobs is a trademarked term, meaning that its use, particularly for commercial purposes, is limited. Trademarked terms should not be used in commercial messages except by authorized advertisers.
When using the marks in publications that will be distributed only in the United States, include the appropriate TM, SM, or ® symbol on first use. For publications that will be distributed outside the United States, do not include trademark symbols. Instead use the appropriate trademark attribution notice, for example: Avjobs, Avjobs, Inc. and Avjobs.com are trademarks of Avjobs Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
Remember that trademarks are adjectives, and cannot be made plural or possessive.
The absence of a product or service name or logo from this list does not constitute a waiver of Avjobs trademark or other intellectual property rights concerning that name or logo.
For more information on how to use Avjobs trademarks, contact our Trademark team.
A trademark is a word, design, symbol, phrase, sound, scent, or color (or any combination) that identifies the source of a party's goods. A service mark identifies the source of a party's services.

If a product or service name is not listed under Avjobs Trademarks or Avjobs Service Marks, it should not be followed by a ™ or ® notation and should not be included in credit lines. However, if a product or service name includes Avjobs, or another Avjobs mark listed in this trademark list, do apply the correct trademark symbol (™ or ®) to that portion of the name for U.S. publications only. In addition, all Avjobs trademarks need to be given the correct attribution in the credit section of all U.S. and international publications.

We receive many questions about this, including the question as to whether the words "Avjobs", "avjobs" and Avjobs, Inc." are really "copyrighted" so they can't be used on other websites. The issue discussed above really is one of trademark, not copyright law. Copyright covers creative works – web pages, movies, books, songs, etc. - while trademark covers the commercial use of words or symbols to represent a product or service, which is what the use of these words are - the identification of the particular brand. Copyright, by contrast, would apply to the actual print or distribution of content - which you also can not use in a commercial setting without permission.
We draft off the goodwill that we've built up over the past 28 years with Avjobs, and part of the reason we've been able to build up Avjobs is by protecting our intellectual property. We're very protective of where and to whom we extend our rights. We protect the Avjobs name and we protect the Avjobs mark for our brand.

Unauthorized use of any such Trademarks, including reproduction, imitation, dilution or confusing or misleading uses, is prohibited under the trademark laws of the United States and other countries. You are expressly prohibited from using or misusing any Trademarks, except as expressly provided in our Terms of Use, and nothing otherwise stated or implied in the Services confers on you any license or right to do so.
