Captain-232226 JOB SUMMARY Textron Corporate Aviation is seeking a captain in support of its operations at Industrial’s Rockford IL facility. This role offer exciting opportunities and rewarding challenges for individuals who are self-starters team builders and professionally driven. The captains is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of company aircraft while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations rules directives company procedures and aircraft flight manuals. Textron is registered as a Stage III IS-BAO organization. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct FAR Part 91 flights in accordance with Textron’s policies and procedures as well as within FAA regulations and guidelines Provide first class customer service and care throughout operations Supervise and coordinate flight crew activities from the planning phase through the completion of the company trip ensuring safety is maintained throughout the process Motivate and direct a cockpit crew Support the company’s IS-BAO program interfacing with Textron Corporate for aircraft and crew scheduling and assisting with scheduling aircraft maintenance Must have the ability and willingness to work irregular schedules as assigned Qualifications EDUCATION EXPERIENCE •Airline Transport ATP Certificate •Current First Class FAA Medical Certificate •Prefer a minimum of 3500 total flight hours •Prefer a minimum of 2000 fixed-wing turbine hours •Prefer a minimum of 500 hours as PIC in a Jet Aircraft •CJ3 Type Rating preferred •Familiarity with Collins Pro Line 21 and FMS 3000 preferred •Knowledge of flight operations into and out of Canada and Mexico •Bachelor’s Degree preferred SKILLS COMPETENCIES •Superior customer service and communications skills •Ability to multi-task prioritize and remain organized in a fast past environment •Highly-motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic; ability to work independently and as a member of a team •Demonstrated experience leading and motivating a team •Creative thinker with a strong process improvement inclination Please apply via our website at https textron.taleo.net careersection textron jobdetail.ftl lang=en&job=232226 Please reference Avjobs when applying for this position.
