CNC Mill and Lathe Operators AvtechTyee Job Type Permanent Full Time with Benefits Everett WA AvtechTyee is seeking experienced CNC Mill and Lathe Operators to join our team. Set up and operate horizontal CNC Mill and vertical CNC Mill. Primary Responsibilities • Essential skills include but not limited to ability to identify and apply G&M codes calculate cutter speeds feeds and chiploads in a variety of materials. • Set up the machine from scratch. • Edit simple programs. • Troubleshoot and correct issues with the machine fixtures tools parts and programs. • Identify needs for process improvement and implement change when necessary. • Applicant must also be able to setup and run all jobs from start to finish from documented set-up sheets and blueprint requirements. • Able to inspect own work. • Must be available for overtime as needed. Knowledge and Skills • Needs to have proven experience being able to read blueprints familiar with GD&T and G-code while able to adjust offsets. • Applicant must have experience using a variety of precise measuring tolls and work with limited training or supervision. • Applicant must be able to demonstrate shop math skills and lift comfortably up to 30lbs. Requirements • 5+ years of experience running Mazak and Okuma Mills • Horizontal mill experience a plus. Eligibility Requirement AvtechTyee is a Defense and Manufacturing company.
