TLD has immediate openings for full-time Accounts Payable Clerk in our Windsor CT office. The ideal candidate will have the ability to complete payments and control expenses by receiving processing verifying and reconciling invoices as part of a growing team with a growing manufacturing industry. AP Clerk essential responsibilities include but are not limited to Entering invoices into Baan system matching purchase orders & receipts analyzing discrepancies and seeking solutions. Resolving purchase order contract invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. Run AP aging reports for disbursements and support printing and dispatch of checks and support electronic payment methods Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks & wires. Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions including open invoice file for unpaid invoices. Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. Support period end financial closing activities for the Accounts Payable department. Protects organization&39;s value by keeping information confidential. Experience Qualifications Ability to handle large volume in a fast paced setting. Must be organized thorough and have excellent attention to detail. Experience in analyzing information with an accounting focus. Ability to establish good vendor relationships Proficiency with excel word data entry and general math skills.
