Operations Assistant Specific duties include but are not limited to Review and approval of any additional crew expenses during or at the completion of a trip such as crew meals rental car requests hotel changes etc. Track all leaves sick and vacation time and long-term sick bank totals. Review per diem and payroll submittals for accuracy and completeness. Print and distribute technical publications Jeppesen and NOAA navigation charts. Track revision status to ensure compliance with FAR’s. Review hotel travel and other expenses for completeness and approval for accounting. Provide administrative and phone support for the Operations Department and management as needed. Crew Scheduler Specific duties include but are not limited to Maintain accurate crewmember flight and duty reports. Monitor aircraft assignment for best utilization of crews. Ensure that two pilots are not assigned together unless one has at least 75 hours of flight time in seat and aircraft. Develop and execute approved and finalized schedules that ensure aircraft are manned by properly qualified crewmembers. These Schedules will include all pre-approved requested time off and ground SIM training when available. Construct and issue monthly bid lines that conform to the requirements stated in the Flight Crew Manual or as directed by company policy. The bid line will include training notifications for the applicable period when available. Determine and negotiate travel requirements for crewmembers to ensure purchase of competitive fare tickets hotel accommodations and any rental care requirements. Review at least weekly the manning requirements for future assignments. Designate assignments of one-in-seven as required for each crewmember so as to ensure efficient use of crew resources. Arrange for hotel and transportation of crewmembers as required to meet scheduling needs. Administration of applicable FAR’s and Company policies with respect to flight assignments received during their shift. Monitoring the affects of delays and cancellations on future assignments already posted. Compensating as required ensuring schedule integrity and compliance with FARs. Enter flight and duty information promptly and accurately into a crewmembers record as soon as practical after receiving the required information. Calculate required rest periods upon review of the final trip logs and notify all necessary parties of legal times. Notify crewmembers of assignments. Approval of any additional crew expenses during or at the completion of a trip such as crew meals rental car requests hotel changes etc. Track crew medicals qualifications passport consolidation and other expiring data for the Director of Training. Tracks all crew leaves sick and vacation time and long term bank totals. Review per diem submittals for accuracy and completeness. There will be no relocation package for this position.
