SUMMARY Responsible for planning and directing electrical mechanical preventative maintenance and repair of various equipment and components on the airport. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Comply with the Station’s attendance tardiness standards. Directs Jetway Mechanics’ work assignments. Directs preventative maintenance inspections lubrication and repairs on terminal aircraft passenger bridges and inbound outbound conveyor bag belt systems. Directs preventative maintenance inspections lubrication and repairs to passenger entry and exiting automatic electrical doors within the main airport terminal. Oversees equipment ensuring safe and efficient operating status. Coordinates manufacture system upgrades. Reads electrical hydraulic construction schematics as this knowledge can be transferred to our operations troubleshooting and repair activities. Proficient in use of volt amp ohm meters. Follows company safety policies and procedures. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises Jetway Mechanics. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.
