ApplyMembership Services Representative I Department Membership Services Reports To Supervisor Membership Services Status Full-time Non-exempt Salary Grade N6 Direct Reports 0 SUMMARY Responsible for serving EAA members with exceptional customer service making a personal connection with our members and supporting our mission to grow participation in aviation. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates excellent communication skills via phone email or in person to answer any front-line questions that a member may ask. Displays an eagerness to use their aviation knowledge to go above and beyond expectations to provide outstanding knowledgeable and memorable service to our members by investigating the concern responding attentively and identifying appropriate resources if additional information is required. Serves as a liaison cross-functionally to provide training updates and support on special projects within specific departments. Continue expanding expertise to handle general customer inquiries and service outside of their program specialty as assigned or needed. Enhances job knowledge by attending informational meetings staying up to date on EAA program offerings and attending program functions e.g. SportAir workshops B-17 flight Maintain flexibility by occasionally greeting visitors in reception at the museum store and guiding tours and education groups through the museum collection as needed. Responsible for taking on additional special projects as assigned. Embrace and support the EAA mission and performs safe practices in the workplace and aviation environment Typically supports the Welcome Center and high volume member areas during AirVenture. All other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in an aviation or other area of relevance to the organization i.e. marketing business safety etc.. A combination of education and relevant related experience could also be considered. Ability to work in a changing environment and prioritize time effectively. Ability to exercise initiative and judgment in serving members. Demonstrated command of spoken and written English. Strong understanding of EAA. Ability to adapt to new computer programs have a proficient understanding of Microsoft Office and effectively be able to do research using the web. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Pilot Certification is preferred. An interest in learning about aviation is required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Typical office setting. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
