Job description Rogerson Kratos specializes in avionics and situational awareness for both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft. The Manager - Systems Engineer will work closely with program management senior management and other software engineers to develop image processing and image algorithms for use in avionics hardware and software solutions. Manager - Systems Engineer Responsibilities Work with customers to define system requirement specification including product performance system interfaces and display functions. Experience with FAA system certification and or flight safety analyses Generation and maintenance of the Systems or Sub-System Specifications. Design tasks include but are not limited to System Architecture Signal Definition TSO Compliance assurance definition of sub-system design including AMLCD Technology Backlighting Bezel & controls System Interconnection EMI Lighting and Thermal Design. Support to marketing Prototype design and fabrication. Technical support. Provide Project engineering direction and oversight including Engineering Administration training documentation. Lead system engineering in requirements analysis system architecture development performance analysis definition of system and subsystem requirements and development of test plans and procedures. Support generation of estimates of labor hours and material dollars required to accomplish design and development activities. Compose and present briefing charts for design reviews PDRs CDRs and customer design reviews and marketing presentations. Provide technical support for marketing and proposal efforts as well as support development of long range technical strategies. Supervise Hardware Engineers Test Engineers Software Engineers to ensure customer requirements are met. Assist in Qualification Testing. Perform failure analysis and troubleshoot. Proficient in Microsoft Projects Manage and report project details to internal and external customers. Other duties as required. Manager - Systems Engineer Requirements 4 year accredited college degree. BSEE Electrical Engineering 3-5 years in a Project Management role role relating to systems experience in the avionics field. Proficient in a Windown environmentMicrosoft Project experience is requiredDesign Tools Experience- Mechanical and electrical CAD programs Project management certification is highly desirable Job Type Full-time Job Pasadena CA Required education Bachelor&39;s Required experience Project Management 10 years Required license or certification FAA System Certification and or Flight Safety Analyses
