Summary The mission of the Aircraft Acquisition Specialist is to provide day-to-day operational support of a multi-million-dollar business. This position will work collaboratively with internal resources to ensure JSSI Parts is capitalizing on every profitable opportunity. Successful Aircraft Acquisition Specialists are entrepreneurs at their core business professionals with integrity and have the capacity to effectively grow and manage an operation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a primary contact for aircraft evaluations Develop financial models across various aircraft to support acquisitions Perform financial analysis and market evaluations Effectively present JSSI Parts to the marketplace Identify and move quickly on opportunities Settle contract discrepancies in a professional and timely manner Call on regular and prospective AC resellers Negotiate prices with customers and vendors Identify market trends to anticipate areas of opportunity Maximize sales and margin goals Attend domestic and international trade shows conferences and seminars ? Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree Five years of accounting or finance experience Ability to effectively communicate business opportunities Working knowledge of aircraft and engines particularly business aviation aircraft and engines Ability to cultivate strong relationships and communicate effectively via email and telephone Ability to function independently Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Working Environment and Conditions Work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
