ApplyDue to our continued growth Green Bay Packaging Inc. is currently seeking a Line Service Technician for our new aircraft hangar located in Green Bay WI. Green Bay Packaging Inc. is a privately owned diversified packaging and paper manufacturer. Founded in 1933 this Green Bay WI based paper company has 3 400 employees and 35 manufacturing locations. The new hangar will be a state of the art facility custom built for the safe and efficient operation of the Flight Department. The Line Service Technician is a customer service position that is responsible for supporting all ground operations for inbound and outbound aircraft flight crews and passengers. Line Service Technicians require the following good decision-making skills the ability to follow company procedures; flexibility in a dynamic working environment; as well as possessing excellent interpersonal skills capable of dealing with all levels of management. Duties will include but are not limited to Clean interior and exterior of Aircraft Maintaining stock room and stocking of aircraft Fueling aircraft Monitoring and maintaining the fuel farm and inventories Tow and marshal aircraft Insure aircraft are chocked locked and secure Aircraft lavatory and potable water service Load unload baggage Assist pilots with aircraft pre and post flight services Operate ground support equipment Assist in maintaining ground support equipment Provide basic security to people and property Direct people drivers and flight crews on ramp area Assist in snow removal when necessary Keeping hangar interior clean Oversee general hangar exterior maintenance and appearance Assist Aircraft Crew Chiefs when required Other duties and tasks as required Requirements Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License Strong interpersonal and communication skills direct interface over telephone and in writing Ability to make decisions with multiple objectives and implement in a safe efficient manner Follow oral and written directions; plan and complete assigned duties on a regular schedule; and maintain good working relationships with others Must be available to work flexible hours including overtime when required Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks including but not limited to facility cleaning vehicle washing aircraft cleaning and vacuuming Ability to work without direct management supervision Must be comfortable with working outdoors day and night hours and in all weather conditions Physical Requirements Stepping up down on ladders tugs and fuel trucks Lift baggage from ground level to waist and overhead while loading aircraft up to 75 lbs. Bending and stooping to pick up tow bars and other equipment up to 75 lbs. Stooping below wings to chock aircraft Standing and walking for extended periods of time Good hand-eye coordination with good peripheral vision We offer a stable work environment modern facilities and a high quality of life location.
