We are a family owned and operated FBO and have been serving the local aviation community for over 46 years! www.bergstromaircraft.com Start Date Immediately Hours 40 hours week Times 8 am- 5 pm Days Monday- Friday Wage Competitive with Benefits Package Minimum Qualifications Read write speak and understand English; Hold a valid A&P License; Have at least three years of Piston and Beech PT6 experience; Hold a valid driver&39;s license; Have your own basic tool set. Responsibilities Service and maintain aircraft. Adjust align and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools power tools gauges and test equipment. Examine and inspect engines or other components for cracks breaks or leaks. Disassemble and inspect parts for wear warping or other defects. Assemble and install electrical plumbing mechanical hydraulic and structural components and accessories. Perform tasks such as oil changes annual inspections phase inspections and sheet metal work. Repair replace and rebuild aircraft structures functional components and parts such as wings and fuselage rigging and hydraulic units. Test engine and system operations using testing equipment. Our A&P Mechanics work in maintenance hangars flight lines and anywhere an aircraft may park. The work may be indoors or outdoors regardless of the weather conditions. Due to major airlines service requirements on-call shifts and overtime is available. Our modern maintenance facility can house up to eight aircraft at a time. Our mechanics work on everything from Piper Cubs to Airbus 320s and get the best opportunity to learn and master a great variety of skills including piston turbine jet maintenance from our nationally recognized Director of Maintenance Jack Vazquez and in-house Beechcraft and Pratt & Whitney Master Mechanic Albert Ticknor.
