Technical Writer Duties

TIME FRAME: Sept 1 2006 (6 – 8 month duration)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Frontier Airlines is seeking a contract technical writer to help with a new software implementation. We are seeking someone who has excellent writing skills and experience specifically writing software documentation policy/ procedure manuals and training materials.

Essential Functions:
· Partners with departmental Subject Matter Experts to write and organize original content and/or revise/rewrite existing content for Frontier- and FAA-controlled technical publications dealing with the maintenance division.

· Conducts research and SME interviews to draft content.

· Ensures all projects comply with the system safety attributes of the TRAX System.
