Paint Technician III Duties

Paint Technicians - 1st - 2nd Shift
The principal duties of the position include the following:
Work as a team member to turn out a quality squawk free aircraft on schedule.
Masking aircraft for stripper application.
Applying agitating and washing stripper off of aircraft.
Hand cleaning and sanding on preparation for etch and alodine.
Applying etch and alodine to aircraft and rinsing.
Removing and reapplying seam seal as required.
Masking and preparing aircraft for primer application.
Sanding as necessary and applying base primer and high build primers.
Sanding primer for topcoat application.
Preparing aircraft for topcoat application.
Masking and preparing stripes as needed.
Painting stripes as required.
De-masking aircraft.
