Administers standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Salary $45,000.00 to $60,000.00 depending upon skills and experience.
Basic Required Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software. Must possess knowledge of procurement regulations (FAR, DFAR). Must be familiar with contract types (FFP, Cost Plus, Cost Reimbursable, T & M) and possess the ability to develop solutions to complex problems, relying on business and contracting knowledge.
Familiarity with JDA software, SAP software for inquiring and read only functions, government and Lockheed property management, ability to understand Bill of Materials, Procurement activities, Estimating activities, as well as an understanding of the various contract types; FFP, IWTA-C, -P, -FCC. Aerospace industry experience. Familiar with First Articles, Production Lot testing , Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), government Bills of Lading, customer returns and warranty issues and the ITAR. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Excellent written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to work well in a team environment.
