Title: Aviation Safety Compliance Audit (ASCA) Program Operations Auditor
Reports to: Aviation Safety Compliance Audit (ASCA) Program Manager
Position Description: The person holding this position is responsible to assist the Aviation Safety Compliance Audit (ASCA) Program Manager in the day-to-day activities regarding the Oil and Gas Provider (OGP) ASCA program. Duties include the auditing of designated aviation service providers, ensuring the ASCA program meets mba quality goals for audit services, and serve as a secondary point of contact on inquiries regarding the ACSA Program.
Primary responsibility includes the performance of Operational Audits of Rotary Wing and Fixed Wing Operators Worldwide. Responsible for ensuring audits meet all quality standards, monitor, track and report to the Program Manager audit(s) progress, liaison with customer and auditees, assist in the management of the ASCA program, including auditor training and activity records.
Accomplish Organizational and Flight Operations components of the ASCA program. Coordinates with the PM on required qualifications and currencies for specific audits. Makes recommendations to IPE/DAP/PM for ASCA program improvements. Performs other tasks as assigned by Director of Audit Programs.
•Must have experience as either or both
-Minimum 5 Years Flight Operations Experience with Rotor Wing and or Fixed Wing Aircraft (RW preferred).
-Minimum 5 years Quality Control/Assurance Experience in performance of Quality audits and operator oversight.
•Previous quality assurance or auditing experience
•Have completed Safety Management Systems (SMS) training from a recognized training provider.
•ISO 9000 training preferred
•Must qualify as a BARS and or IS-BAO auditor
•Previous project management experience desired
•Experienced and knowledgeable in domestic and international aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, CASA, etc.)
•Be available to travel within 36 hours notice.
•Must be English proficient
•Ability to speak another language, French preferred
•Must have valid Passport and be willing to travel a minimum of 50% of the time.
•Must be eligible to work in the United States
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Primary Duty is the auditing of designated aviation service providers, ensuring the ASCA program meets mba quality goals for audit services, and serve as a secondary point of contact on inquiries regarding the Aviation Audit Program.
•Assist in the management of the Aviation Safety Compliance Audit (ASCA) program and associated auditing activity
•Review, evaluate and ensure all audit reports meet quality standards prior to being submitted
•Ensure mba and the ASCA program is in conformity with all quality requirements
•Apply the Safety Assessment Reporting Tool (START) to all audit reports
•Customer Liaison and secondary point of contact on inquiries regarding the ASCA program
•Responsible for tracking ASCA training programs, auditor currencies and records
•Assist in the preparation and tracking of scheduled audit programs and reports
•Support research and investigations
•Assist in the maintenance and production of approved air carriers listing
•Maintain and develop necessary improvements to the ASCA document management system
•Travel 50% and Office 50% or mix thereof.
•Receive training and maintain qualification in Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).
•Receive H2S training and qualify every two years
