Manpower Analyst (Job Number:424591) Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Manpower Analyst SAIC will have an opening soon for an analyst position supporting a military customer in Honolulu, Hawaii. The successful candidate must be well- versed in military manning, particularly for military and joint operations. The candidate must have proven experience with Major Joint or Service Command staff activities. Primary Duties: - Demonstrate an understanding of Joint service manpower systems as well as joint deployment methods and processes. - Serve as the manager for both the Headquarters (HQ) Activity Manning Document (AMD) and Joint Manning Document (JMD), responsible for maintaining the accuracy, operability and functionality of a central Manning database. - Will use the Total Workforce Management System (TWMS), Enlisted Distribution Verification Reports (EDVR), Civilian Human Resources, Contractor Management, and the Commands Reserve support services to ensure accuracy of the central Manning database. - Monitor check-in and check-outs of all HQ personnel and work with directorate representatives to ensure accuracy of the database. - Working with HQ boards, bureaus, centers, cells, and working groups (B2C2WG) leads to identify their manning requirements and work in the Administration Directorate to ensure the HQ staff has adequate numbers and qualifications to support steady state operations. - In coordination with B2C2WG leads, use the central Manning database to plan and coordinate adequate support for crisis battle rhythm. - In the event of a major command exercise or a real world crisis coordinate within the Admin Directorate to obtain extra personnel to augment HQ staff from the active duty and reserve forces, including other service components if in joint role. - As the deputy Augmentation Reception Center director the AMD/JMD Manager will ensure all the Reception, Staging, Onward movement and Integration (RSO&I) of augmenting personnel are completed per HQ directives and Standard Operating Procedures. - Attend various planning conferences for major exercises as a member of the exercise manning team, writing the HQ official reporting instructions and ensuring security procedures are followed during in-processing. - Form, facilitate, and participate, or lead, appropriate Admin Directorate working groups. : TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: - Clearance Level Must Possess: Secret - Clearance Level Must be able to Obtain: TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Database experience - Military Personnel Operations experience - Exercise Development experience - Exercises and Training experience - Former Military experience SAIC Overview:
