Dixie Chopper, a Jacobsen company is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to successfully develop and grow long term relationships with dealers, dealer sales personnel, and end users.
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing customer relationship, product training, and sales leadership for dealer sales personnel. This person will also drive to improve customer satisfaction, increase profitable sales volumes and implement strategic objectives for assigned territory.
SPECIFIC & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Proactively and collaboratively lead, monitor, develop and implement mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet dealer performance objectives, dealer expectations, and end user expectations/needs
Demonstrate strong product application knowledge and be able to communicate this knowledge to train and/or sell.
Manage activity tracking regarding customer visits or meetings, customer comments, lead follow up, sales and territory activities. Other reports submitted as required.
Maintain sufficient whole goods inventory, services parts and accessories, assuring dealer sales objectives are being achieved
Conduct product and sales training sessions with dealer personnel.
Guide and coach dealer sales personnel by sharing best practices/approaches and drive dealer adoption of company programs.
Represent Dixie Chopper at trade shows and dealer function as requested. May be required to assist the company in activities outside of the TSM& 8217;s area of responsibilities.
Manage travel and entertainment expenses within guidelines set forth by the company.
Accept responsibility for company owned assets, which may include vehicles, trailers, and demonstration equipment/products, that are used in the position.
Increase territory dealer base by signing new dealers that can help contribute to the goals of the organization and our OPE brand& 8221;
Other duties as assigned
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Turf Management, or Related Field or equivalent preferred
• Strong product and product application knowledge
• 3 years experience selling turf, agricultural or construction equipment
• 3 years managing channel partners or proven sales management experience
• Simple to moderate physical exertion
• 80 % Business Travel
• Outside Work conditions
