As a aircraft mechanic you will already possess an FAA A&P license and preferably have 3 to 10 years experience working in the field. Inspection Authorization IA preferred. You should be able to perform Annual Inspections and corrective repairs without supervision. You will be working mainly on light general aviation aircraft mostly single and twin engine piston powered aircraft.
