We are a small aviation company specializing in avionics installations troubleshooting and repairs. We are looking for an avionics technician who is looking for a challenge and willing to help our newly certified repair station grow within the Rocky Mountain region. Job Responsibilities Avionics Troubleshooting and Repair. Plan and manage typical avionics installations. Interactions with customers and flight school personnel. Maintain company documentation through job process managing parts usage and work performed. Complete typical component interfacing per manufacturers schematics. Ability to work independently with reasonable guidance. Assist with avionics installation project-scoping.  Perform 91.411 and 91.413 tests and inspections.  Experience 3+ Years Avionics Installation and Repair. Ability to perform electrical connections to complete harness assembly. Mechanical installation considerations including minor sheet metal work. Follow manufacturer’s installation documents and complete post installation aircraft return to service. Proficiency with electrical schematics. Proficiency with using basic test equipment. 91.411 and 91.413 experience. Education Requirements A&P or AET Certification IA a plus. Familiarization of common wiring and avionics installations procedures methods and techniques. Familiarization with basic electronics theory and aircraft electrical systems. Familiarization with common electrical tooling. Familiar with Data Bus Interfaces. Understanding of ADS-B. Additional Requirements Participation in FAA drug and alcohol testing regulations as is covered in 14 CFR Part 120. could quickly grow into leadership role.
