LiveTV Position Expectations (PE)

Position Title: Program Manager (LTV Manager Program)

Position Summary:
Responsible for managing LiveTV development and production programs to modify, certify, install and maintain the LiveTV systems and products on commercial aircraft.

Essential Functions:
•Manages all aspects of the Customer relationship to meet the reliability, compliance, cost and schedule requirements of the program
•Ensures that all resources such as engineering, installation, maintenance and subcontractors are available for the program
•Coordinates closely with the Customer and works through multifunctional organization to develop and execute program plan
•Prepares plans, reports and presentations to communicate to Customers, other Teammembers and subcontractors
•Other duties as assigned by Teamleader

Interactions:
Supervision Received:
•Plans and carries out work assignments resolves most conflicts which arise coordinates work with others as necessary interprets policy on own initiative in terms of established objectives. Keeps Teamleader informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or farreaching implications

Supervisory Duties:
•No supervisory responsibility but is responsible for managing a specific function
1.Minimum Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma required
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant program management and/or Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) electronics certification/installation experience
•Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
•Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Program Management or Project Management
•Experience with Federal Aviation Administration and/or commercial airline industry with Supplemental Type Certification (STC) or Type Certification (TC)/Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Integration preferred
•Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally
•Valid, unrestricted Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States or ability to obtain one
•Must speak, read and write English fluently
•Regular attendance and punctuality is required
•Must have a positive attitude
•Organizational fit for the LiveTV culture, that is, exhibit the LiveTV values of Compliance, Respect, Innovation, Responsibility, Teamwork
•Well groomed and maintain a professional appearance
•Must pass 10 year background check and drug test
•Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located
•When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Teammembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

•Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
•Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Equipment:
•In this position it will be required to operate a variety of general business machines and equipment.

Work Environment:
•Normal office, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet and at times Hangar environment
•Work shifts may vary – flexibility required
•Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
•Must be willing to travel on a regular basis both domestically as well as internationally

Physical Effort:
•Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently. (Light)

To qualify for the opportunity you will need to meet the following criteria:
• At least five years continuous experience as Cabin Manager (qualified SCCM) on a widebody, 2 or 3 class aircraft
• Medically fit with the ability to hold a GCAA medical license
• Empathetic with a positive attitude and a willingness to work in an international environment
• Ability to swim at least 25m unaided in open water without a flotation device
• Able to provide certificates and/or documentary evidence of Cabin Crew qualifications at application and show originals at assessment
• Must be able to reach 210cm without shoes
• High standard of personal appearance and grooming
• No visible tattoos whilst in uniform
• Educated to a minimum level of accredited secondary education or equivalent.
• Must have a high standard of English verbal, written and comprehension.

Job Functions:

Aircraft/engine inspector to report to MRO Chief Inspector. Will be groomed to perform maintenance functions, to include monitoring MPA runs, accomplishing borescope inspections, top case repairs, borescope blending and engine preservation.

Skills/Attributes:

Ability to read/understand FAA regulations, airworthiness directives, technical literature, and Aircraft/Engine manuals. Must have good communication skills, and work well under pressure. Must demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Computer literacy and an ability to create Customer-friendly reports. A willingness to travel and work extended hours is essential.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Aircraft and Powerplant license or Associates degree preferred.

Project Manager will plan, execute and finalize large scale aircraft teardown projects associated with Boeing/McDonnell Douglas/Airbus aircraft. Candidate will effectively manage maintenance and tear down projects including minor maintenance, engine change and Boeing/Airbus/MD aircraft dismantling. Position includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan, deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

•Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
•Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
