Willson Aire

Willson Aire was founded in 2026 as a FAR Part 121 regional airline built from the ground up, operating the Airbus A220. We are Black- and veteran-owned, founded by Michael James Wilson Jr., who brings 19 years of frontline aviation experience — ramp, gate, cabin, and dispatch — and 16 years of U.S. Army National Guard Military Police service. Willson Aire exists to prove that an airline can be genuinely elevated — not just for the passengers in the cabin, but for the crew and ground team who make every flight possible. Our network is built on real, verified demand rather than assumption, serving underserved markets and real, documented travel needs the industry has overlooked. Our mission is simple: Elevated all the way through. We are currently in the pre-certification phase of the FAA's Part 121 process, actively building our founding leadership team ahead of a target inaugural flight in 2028.
