Description 3M is seeking a Global Portfolio Manager- Aerospace Adhesive Films and Tapes within the Automotive and Aerospace Solutions Division located in Maplewood MN. At 3M you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.Here you go. : The person hired for the of Global Portfolio Manager- Aerospace Adhesive Films and Tapes will be responsible for leading 3Ms Aerospace Adhesive Films and Tapes Business a foundational part of the Aerospace Industry for over 70 years. Primary include but are not limited to the following: Global Responsibility for Sales and Profitability of the Aerospace Adhesive Film and Tapes business. Leads global marketing team in defining global strategies to meet/exceed customer needs grow the business and increase the business profitability for Aerospace Adhesive Films and Tapes. Develops and executes Global strategic and marketing plans for business. Help lead Aerospaces conversaion to an Agile Product development approach working with other functional managers to provide leadership to the cross functional Agile Product Development teams (each team is focused on a given technology area and has full cross fuctional support including support from our dedicated NPI marketers). Drives sales and spec-in of products through coordination with Global Key Account Leaders Regional Leaders and Country Sales and Marketing. Develops portfolio value propositions campaigns marketing tools and training for the sales force to be effective in competing to gain market share. Oversees execution of operational business fundamentals including pricing forecasting and customer support. Representation for the Aerospace Business on the Global Structural Adhesive Priority Growth Platform (PGP) Team. Understands customer insights and needs translating them into business strategies. Demonstrates company values. Basic Possess a Bachelors degree or higher(completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution. Minimum of three (3) combined years of experience in US or Global Marketing Sales and/or Business Development in a private public government or military environment. Preferred Masters Degree in Business Administration. Ability to empower teams and build a collaborative challenging and rewarding environment. Demonstrated a strategic mindset- looking for ways to identify simple and clear actions in a complex environment. Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute on strategic plans resulting in business growth. Direct experience with key account driven or regulated industries. Experience leading global teams. A track record of not only successfully working within existing processes but also finding ways to improve and deploy current processes to achieve better outcomes. Customer focused thinking and proven success in building relationships with direct customers and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work in highly technical industry. Strong analytical skills with ability to think strategically and to navigate complex situations. Excellent written verbal and presentation skills.
