ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navys and the U.S. Air Forces Joint Strike Fighter F-35 the U.S. Navys F-18 EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor and the U.S. Air Forces F-22 Raptor since 1998.
We are a Small Business DoD Prime Contractor and are seeking Flight Training Operations Support personnel in support of U.S. air Force Air Education and Training Command.

• Vance AFB OK
• Tucson AZ (ANG)
• Lackland AFB TX (ANG)
• Little Rock AFB AR (ANG)
• Altus AFB OK
• NAS Pensacola NAS FL
These positions are contigent upon Task Order award.
Provide flight training operations support (FTOS) functions to U.S. Air Force Air Education and Training Command training squadrons. FTOS functions include: Standardization and Evaluation (Stan/Eval) support Training support and aircrew Scheduling/Programming support.
The focus of work shall be to support non-flying duties in training squadrons that personnel on flying status traditionally perform as additional duties.
- Stan/Eval support function is responsible for creating updating reviewing and maintaining documents and flight evaluation folders (FEF)
- Stan/Eval support function is responsible for ensuring compliance with 11-2MDSV2 (Note 1) and AFI 11-202V2 (Ch 1-9) as well as applicable MAJCOM and local guidance/supplements for AETC permanent
attached and associate aircrew as well as students where applicable
- Stan/Eval supporter must perform all the tasks listed below and then present them to the unit Stan/Eval officer or designated official for approval
• Maintain accountability and control of flight testing materials IAW local directives
• Notify aircrew members of their place in the eligibility period on a monthly basis for members in the evaluation eligibility period specified by AFI 11-202V2 IAW local procedures
• Assist members with coordinating extensions/waivers to local authorities or advise of deadlines set by AFI 11-202V2 (Ch 1-9) and applicable supplements through the chief of Stan/Eval or designated official
• Schedule members for evaluation testing in MS as they enter the evaluation eligibility period specified by AFI 11-202V2 or IAW local directives
• Enter Instrument Refresher Course (IRC) Master Question File (MQF) Emergency Procedures Quiz Open Book Semi-Annual or other test questions into electronic test databanks as needed in accordance with
local directives
• Serve as MS testing monitor (as required) and administrator duties/function for units updating all applicable items for unit members and Temporary Duty (TDY) individuals flying at the unit due to training
or mission requirements
• Interface with HARM/SARM TRS DOV DOT Student Training Management (STM) Squadron Leadership MS support and other personnel or agencies as needed
• Review evaluations and report evaluation trends monthly or per local procedures
• Perform initial and annual reviews for approval by a Stan/Eval officer or equivalent and update student/permanent party FEFs (Form 8/4348/942s) IAW 11-2MDSV2 (Note 1) AFI 11-202V2 (Ch 1-9)
AFI 11-290 section A.2 AETC supplement as well as associated MAJCOM/Installation supplements and locally-developed guidance
• In-process members’ FEFs and facilitate any paperwork needed to get the member’s Go/No-Go items ready for flying status
• Execute Stan/Eval out-processing functions IAW local guidance
• Coordinate with squadron schedulers to facilitate evaluations consistent with unit leadership Stan/Eval officer and regulatory guidance
• Perform Flight Crew Information Files (FCIF) monitor duties IAW 11-202V2 (Ch 9.1) and applicable supplements and report completion to the unit Stan/Eval officer or designated official
• Update Flight Information Publications (FLIP) updates and changeovers on the appropriate dates; including Electronic Flight Bags (EFB)
1) Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a DoD operational flying unit (active duty guard/reserve contractor or civilian)
2) Minimum two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint
3) Ability to operate the following systems/programs:
a) Computer based training and integrated management system (TIMSGTIMS PEX X-plan)
b) SharePoint websites and communities of practice
c) Microsoft Access is not required but highly desired
5) Favorable background check
6) Possess knowledge of organizational and functional responsibilities as well as the organizational relationships of a military flying unit.
