Job Title:Shipping & Receiving Coordinator 

Job Summary: 
The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator supports the FAA Part 145 Repair Station by managing all inbound and outbound aircraft parts, materials, and tooling while ensuring full regulatory compliance, traceability, and accurate documentation in accordance with FAA Part 145, company procedures, and customer requirements. This role is critical maintenance and repair process. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming aircraft parts, components, materials and tooling for accuracy, condition, and proper documentation. 

  • Ensures all incoming items include required FAA documentation (8130-3, C of C, teardown reports, traceability records).  

  • Log, tag, and route incoming materials to appropriates departments following repair station procedures. 

  • Prepare outbound shipments, ensuring correct packing, labeling, hazmat compliance (if applicable), and documentation. 

  • Coordinates with carriers for pickups, tracking, and delivery confirmations. 

  • Support transport of materials using company vehicles as needed (CDL-related duties if licensed). 

Warehouse Operations   

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and FAA-compliant warehouse environment. 

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely. 

  • Ensure proper storage conditions for sensitive aircraft components (humidity, temperature, FOD control). 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required aviation or logistics coursework preferred 

  • 1-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station or aviation environment strongly preferred. 

  • Knowledge of FAA documentation requirements (8130-3, C of C, traceability).  

  • Experience with ERP/MRO systems (Quantum, Corridor, AMOS, Ramco, etc.) is a plus 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 

  • Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain. 

  • Valid CDL (Class A or B) – preferred but not required 

  • Willingness to obtain a CDL if operational needs require it 

  • Understanding of aviation parts, nomenclature, and classifications.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities. 

  • Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, and FAA forms. 

  • Familiarity with hazardous materials shipping (IATA/49 CFR) is a plus.

Work Environment: 

  • FAA regulated Repair Station warehouse, shop, and office environment  

  • Exposure to aircraft parts, chemicals, and standard industrial equipment. 

  • Requires adherence to PPE, FOD control, and safety protocols. 

  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support operational requirements. 

  • Require overtime or shift work based on operational needs
