Carolina Turbine Support is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician/Installer specializing in Garmin equipment for Mitsubishi MU-2 turboprop aircraft. You will lead or support installations, integrations, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades of Garmin and other avionics systems. Work on a variety of MU-2 avionics projects in our dedicated facility.

Carolina Turbine Support is an FAA Repair Station and Mitsubishi MU-2 Service Center located at the Aiken Regional Airport in Aiken, South Carolina. www.cts-mu2.com.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and test Garmin avionics systems.
• Perform wiring, integration, and functional checks.
• Troubleshoot and repair avionics and electrical systems.
• Document work per FAA regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate with A&P mechanics on comprehensive MU-2 maintenance.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of experience installing and troubleshooting Garmin avionics systems (strong preference for  experience in general aviation or turboprops).
• Industry certifications (e.g., AEA, Garmin-specific training) highly desired.
• FAA A&P license a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and commitment to safety/quality.
• High school diploma/GED required.
