ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Position is designated critical-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
Drug Testing:This positions has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force national security and public safety.
The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) Security Program Integration Professional Certification (SPIPC) Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position in accordance with DOD 3305.13-M DoD Security Accreditation and Certification. The listed certification requirements may not be deleted or modified without the written approval of the AF Security Functional Authority (SAF/AA) or their delegated security career field representative. This certification requirement only applies to employees hired onto this position on or after 14 March 2016. Incumbent employees assigned on or before 13 March 2016 are not required to obtain the DoD certification(s) listed above.
The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours and tours of duty such as overtime weekends callback uncommon tour of duty holidays etc.May be required to carry a call phone or beeper.
The employee is required to take a random counter-intelligence polygraph and submit to additional background checks as a condition of employment and/or continued access to the SAP.
This position is designated as a key position IAW AFI 36-507.Duties of this position are essential to the accomplishment of wartime/contingency operation. Incumbents of key positions must be removed from their military recall status if alternative for filling of the position during an emergency are not available.
One year of specialized experience which includes special access program security disciplines and application in wide range of security program relationships; evaluate multi-discipline risks to classified National Security information and apply appropriate levels of protection; evaluation direction and guidance for security programs; computer security information physical personnel and industrial security. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the GS-12 grade/level or equivalent position in the federal service.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Applicants must have served at least 52 weeks at the GS-12 or higher grade (or equivalent in an alternate pay system) within the Federal Civil Service to be considered for referral. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge skills abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of a wide range of security program relationships and expertise in communications information physical personnel and industrial security.
Knowledge of required security training concepts programs procedures and practices and ability to present clear concise complete accurate and timely classroom and on-the-job training.
Knowledge of and ability to apply basic budget and resource management policies principles and practices.
Skill in developing analyzing and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the special access program for the command.
Ability to plan organize and lead others in studies or projects and negotiate effectively with leadership and analysts to accept and implement recommendations where proposals involve substantial resources and require extensive changes in established requirements concepts and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiates complex issues; and maintains good working relationships.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE:Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS: The VOW Act Chapter 21 of Title 5 United States Code (U.S.C.)
