Air Wisconsins team is made up of around 1800 members dedicated to making our travelers experiences safe and pleasant.With general supervision from the Program Manager - Heavy Maintenance the Heavy Maintenance Representative is responsible for on site management and coordination all heavy maintenance being done at our vendor facilities.Essential Job Functions Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment. Ensures timely correct and accurate processing of aircraft maintenance records for maintenance performed at assigned facility. Over sees the contract personnel involved in performing heavy maintenance QEC repair and livery changes to ensure assigned manpower provides maximum effective productivity within contractual constraints. Ensures compliance with DOT/FAA regulations and company policies and procedures in accordance with the Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation General Maintenance Manual. Ensures timely correct and accurate processing of aircraft maintenance records for maintenance performed at assigned facility. Approves all non-routine maintenance required on-site at contract facility. Liaise between the Heavy Maintenance vendor and Aircraft Manufacturer. Position requires extensive travel. Attendance is considered an essential responsibility. Adherence to all company policies and procedures. Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.Requirements Associate degree in aviation management or engineering preferred. FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (required). Three to five years supervisory experience in a union environment in FAR Part 121 Air Carrier operations. Three to five years quality assurance/quality control experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
