Senior Aviation Military Analyst Fielded Force Integration Directorate (FFID)
Title: Senior AviationMilitary Analyst Fielded Force Integration Directorate (FFID)
Location: Fort Rucker AL
Summary: Senior Aviation Military Analyst Fielded Force Integration Directorate (FFID) supports Fielded Force IntegrationDirectorate (FFID) and Army Capability Manager Directorate Fort Rucker. Preference is given to previously rated ArmyAviators UAS Operators or aviation maintenance specialists and have anextensive working knowledge/understanding of Aviation operations andemployment the JCIDS Process CONOPS Development CBA Process and a thoroughunderstanding of the Army and Joint Concepts especially the Army ConceptFramework. Preference also is given to rated Army Aviation Officers WarrantOfficers and Senior Non-commissioned Officers with 12 or more years ofoperational experience in Aviation positions from company through the strategicplanning level of the Army. Positions require knowledge of DOD and ArmyAviation transformation and require persons to have successfully completed theDAU career path training to include the following DAU courses:
CLR 250 DevelopingPerformance Attributes
CLR 252 Market Research
CLC004 Analysis of Alternatives CLR 151
Providecoherent presentations documentation executive summaries using traditionalbusiness communication mediums for senior leadership decisions.
ConductStakeholder Meetings Workgroups telephone and video conferences.
Prepareproducts and documentation using Microsoft Office software or other similarbusiness software to prepare and provide briefings to leadership for decisionmaking on Army Aviation Doctrine Organization Training Materiel LeadershipPersonnel Facilities (DOTMLPF) and the costs including manning training andequipping to implement.
Mustbe capable of independent work based on broad senior level guidance to producecompleted white papers concept papers requirements documents operationalviews and other written products as required within the scope of the contract.Must be able to review and edit products to ensure they are written at thegraduate level as normally expected of the Army Command and General StaffCollege (Intermediate Level Education (ILE) the Army Warrant Officer StaffCourse (WOILE) or NCO professional Development courses (Senior Leaders Course(SLC) Master Leaders Course (MLC) Sergeants Major Course).
15years Army Aviation operations experience at the field grade officer or fieldgrade warrant officer or Senior NCO (SGM). CGSC/ILE graduate or Warrant OfficerSenior Staff Course is required for prior Officers and Warrant
Instructorpilot/Operator qualification in manned/unmanned aircraft with a Master Aviatorrating or Master Aircrew for UAS. Operational experience in tactical aviationformations executing UAS operations (e.g. AH-64/RQ-7 MQ-1 aviator/operatorMUM-T experience MQ-1/RQ-7-unit S-3/TACOPS officer.
Experiencein planning executing and facilitating DOTMLPF-P assessments and JointWorking Groups.
Experiencein modeling and simulation (M&S) efforts for vertical lift aircraft andfixed wing aircraft and experience with JCIDS technical writing is required.
ExcellentMS Office Skills.
TopSecret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required at hire
PreviousArmy Aviation Company or higher command positions preferred.
Recentexperience in conducting experiments concept development and scenarios isdesired.
Experienceparticipating in source selection committees for Joint or Army Aviation systemsand the capability development experience taking the system through testing andfielding is highly desired.
Experiencein training Aviation formations through Division Corps and Theater staff in ahigh OPTEMPO combat environment is desired
Anoperational deployment to a theater of operations is desired. Participation inArmy level wargames such as Unified Quest or Challenge or similar wargame ispreferred.
