Senior Aviation Military Analyst (Utility Helicopter Subject Matter Expertise) (FFID) Title: Senior AviationMilitary Analyst (Utility Helicopter Subject Matter Expertise) (FFID) Location: Fort Rucker AL Summary: Senior AviationMilitary Analyst (Utility Helicopter Subject Matter Expertise) supports Fielded Force Integration Directorate (FFID) and ArmyCapability Manager Directorate Fort Rucker. Preference is given to previously rated ArmyAviators UAS Operators or aviation maintenance specialists and have anextensive working knowledge/understanding of Aviation operations and employmentthe JCIDS Process CONOPS Development CBA Process and a thoroughunderstanding of the Army and Joint Concepts especially the Army ConceptFramework. Preference also is given to rated Army Aviation Officers WarrantOfficers and Senior Non-commissioned Officers with 12 or more years ofoperational experience in Aviation positions from company through the strategicplanning level of the Army. Positions require knowledge of DOD and ArmyAviation transformation and require persons to have successfully completed theDAU career path training to include the following DAU courses: CLR 250 DevelopingPerformance Attributes CLC004 Analysis of Alternatives CLR 151 Specific Duties: Providecoherent presentations documentation executive summaries using traditionalbusiness communication mediums for senior leadership decisions. ConductStakeholder Meetings Workgroups telephone and video conferences. Prepareproducts and documentation using Microsoft Office software or other similarbusiness software to prepare and provide briefings to leadership for decisionmaking on Army Aviation Doctrine Organization Training Materiel LeadershipPersonnel Facilities (DOTMLPF) and the costs including manning training andequipping to implement. Mustbe capable of independent work based on broad senior level guidance to producecompleted white papers concept papers requirements documents operationalviews and other written products as required within the scope of the contract.Must be able to review and edit products to ensure they are written at thegraduate level as normally expected of the Army Command and General StaffCollege (Intermediate Level Education (ILE) the Army Warrant Officer StaffCourse (WOILE) or NCO professional Development courses (Senior Leaders Course(SLC) Master Leaders Course (MLC) Sergeants Major Course). (15)years of Aviation operations experience in utility helicopter formations;assault and/or general support and/or cavalry regiment. UH-60A/L/ or Mexperience required. CGSC/ILEgraduate or Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course is required for prior officers. Senioror Master rated Aviator is required. (5)years experience working in combat/capabilities developments is required. SECRETclearance required. Desired Qualifications: Experienceas a US Army Division or Corps level planner/staff officer Attackor Assault Battalion Command S3 or XO desired. Experienceas Battalion or Brigade Senior Instructor Pilot (SIP) and Instrument FlightExaminer and/or Chief Warrant Officer of the Brigade is desired. Experienceas a Maintenance Test Pilot or Examiner is desired. .Experience in planning executing and facilitating Joint Working Groups isdesired. Experienceas a Team Lead conducting Aviation studies with experience in developingcapabilities and evaluating technologies is desired. Directleadership of a team that authored a Joint Requirements Oversight Council(JROC) approved JCIDS document is desired. Participation as a direct teammember in the Army Aviation Operations CBA is preferred. Utilityaviation operational experience in combat operations is desired.
