Job Description
The successful candidate will have database experience and working familiarity with military aviation support.
Job Duties:
Determine the applicability of technical data used in baseline population of the AMTCS Software Module (ASM) I-Level and O-Level database.
Perform mass import of data and linking of maintenance performers to task/test questions and training tools within ASM database.
Determine composition of databases for different aviation maintenance activities.
Collect data related to specific aircraft platforms fleet and schoolhouse course/test data training tools and task performers and their applicability to Navy and Marine Corps aviation qualifications certifications on-the-job training requirements and job qualification requirements.
Data input and analysis actions required to maintain currency and accuracy of databases such as technical reference updates test or examination reviews and task list modifications driven by technical/mechanical changes applicable to aircraft/aircraft engine related platforms.
Effect timely modifications/corrections to task lists question banks accreditation routing templates duties/billets reference lectures matrices and their front/back matter areas qualification type settings and naval aviation maintenance program settings and keywords.
Required Education Experience and Skills
A minimum of 4 years related and recent professional work experience.
Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance
Excellent computer skills including the ability to perform data input and extraction
Proficient with MS Office Products
Ability and experience with revising or writing standard material for reports manuals briefs instruction books and related technical publications and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Excellent verbal and written communications
Ability and willingness to work without direct supervision
Preferred Education Experience and Skills
Military aviation maintenance experience highly desirable
Bachelors degree or an Associates with a minimum of 2 years related and recent work experience
Prior experience with ASM database
