Description, duties, responsibilities
The Handling Qualities Engineer will supportproduct development of Bell Advanced Vertical Lift Systems. This position isbased at Bell s Ft. Worth TX headquarters facility.
Aircraft stability and control design andanalysis
Experience analyzing and reducing wind tunneldata for incorporation into simulation math model
6 degree of freedom simulation and simulationdevelopment
Flight test support and data analysis
Analysis of control law inner and outer loopfunctions
Linear and non-linear analysis of flight controlsystems
Interface with flight controls avionics andother teams using good communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor s Degree in Aerospace Engineering - orsimilar discipline - is required.
Master s Degree in Engineering is preferred.
Experience in Handling Qualities is required forthis position.
Must have the ability to prioritize a variety ofassignments.
Must have the ability to work effectively withina team.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills arerequired.
Advanced Rotorcraft experience is preferred
