Aircraft Structures Techinician

Teterboro, NJ

Min- $40

Max- $50

Details- Direct Hire, Relocation for qualified candidates.

Must have 4+ in aircraft structures and sheet metal maintenance and repair to apply. Aircraft maintenance experience, focus on inspecting any visible and hidden corrosion, damage, and repair aircraft per Manufacturers manual/ FAA regulations. Bombardier, Global, Challenger, Learjet, Citation, Falcon, Gulfstream, Hawker.

Must be flexible with shift and operations needs.

• Conduct inspections and assess walkthroughs on aircraft, monitoring skin or structural damage to be identify and repaired.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer's specifications, and company policies.
• Repair or replace damage aircraft components.
• Fabricate sheet metal and or structural parts per blueprints and schematics.
• Conduct functional and operational tests on aircraft systems to ensure proper performance.
• Document maintenance activities and prepare accurate reports.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve maintenance issues and ensure timely completion of work.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay up to date with industry advancements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of a high school graduate or equivalent degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) 43, 65, 91, 135, 145.
• A minimum of eight years of experience in aircraft maintenance is required.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an AOA (Airport Operations Area) badge or meet airport requirements.
