The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join our fast paced Commercial Bids Team based in Brisbane CBD.

This role is a key contributor to securing future work and continued growth for Boeing Defence Australia.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluate requests for proposal, coordinate estimation, and development of pricing for proposal responses
  • Perform risk, financial and competitive analysis for development of business cases
  • Develop direct and indirect rates and factors for use in estimates, pricing and proposals
  • Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program.
  • Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices. Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals.
  • Develops estimating and pricing methods.
  • Evaluates and develops business cases.
  • Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.).
  • Develops and maintains pricing models.
  • Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements.
  • Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating, pricing and proposals.
  • Performs compliance activities including policy and procedure development, system/tool deployment and training delivery.

To be successful you will have:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Business, or related discipline
  • A good understanding of pricing competitive tender financial responses
  • Advanced MS excel skills along with an understanding of pricing tools
  • Experience using ProPricer
