Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate (Level-2), Mid-Level (Level-3) or Senior (Level-4) Training Systems Integration Lab Administrator to join their team in Richardson, TX. This position will serve as an individual contributor for the P-8A Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) Training Systems Integration and Test team.

The Integration and Test team provides software integration for the P-8A AAS Training Systems, which consists of a weapons trainer simulator, electronic classroom for desktop instruction, and a mission planning station.

This position will support the software integration and updates to the training devices. This includes upgrading the operating systems (Windows/Linux), configuring Cisco switches, adding computers to the existing network, upgrading firmware, and troubleshooting network issues. This position requires extensive collaboration with the software team, cybersecurity, and the test team. The candidate will support the training devices in Dallas as well as retrofitting the training devices at remote customer sites. The candidate will be part of the test team conducting device checkout and formal testing with the customer.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Ability to obtain security certifications such as Security+ or equivalent IAT Level 2 certifications per DoD Instruction 8570 (8140)

  • 1+ Years of experience with Linux, Windows, Windows Server Operating Systems

  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time domestically (intermittent for remote installations)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • (Level-3) 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • (Level-4) 8+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • Current DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance

  • 5+ Experience with Linux, Windows, Windows Server Operating Systems

  • Linux+, Network+, and/or CCNA certifications

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level-2)

Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mid-Level (Level-3)

Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Senior (Level 4)

Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 7 or more years’ or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $78,200 - $105,800

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $98,600 - $133,400

Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $121,550 - $164,450
