The Opportunity

Insitu Pacific is looking for an experienced Senior Inventory and Supply Officer to join our Contracts, Logistics and Supply team in support of our operations, engineering, maintenance and training activities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead specified warehouse activities at Insitu Pacific sites at Alderley and Enoggera
  • Undertake warehouse activities including receipt, handling, storage, packaging (including dangerous goods), dispatch and transportation of materiel; compilation of deployment kits; tracking of assets; and disposal of materiel;
  • Provision of logistics support including, capacity management, stock categorisation, materiel data management, inventory identification and accountability, provision of reports, stocktaking.
  • Ensure compliance with OH & S requirements and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Provide mentoring and on-the-job training to Inventory and Supply Officers including day-to-day tasking and prioritisation as directed by the Warehouse and Logistics Manager.
  • Ensuring quality control processes and practices are followed including, processing of all non-conformance issues and corrective and preventive actions (CPAs) that arise as the assigned Transportation, Warehouse and Logistics representative.
  • Correct operation of Insitu Pacific support equipment and vehicles including, forklifts and trucks
  • Provide inventory reports on stock levels, non-conforming receipts
  • Develop procedures and work instructions relating to role and actively identify improvements and best practices
  • Act as a subject matter expert in a key logistics and warehouse areas and act as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications/Experience

Essential

  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in warehouse duties.
  • Extensive experience with inventory management systems.
  • Proven experience in shipping of materiel, including knowledge of import and export requirements.
  • Current Drivers Licence and forklift ticket.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong computer skills including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with limited supervision and set priorities

Desirable

  • Certificate III in Transport and Distribution (Warehousing).
  • Experience in warehouse duties specific to the management and accountability of aeronautical products.
  • Familiarity within a quality assurance environment and experience in the defence/aerospace related industry.

  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
  • Able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
  • You may require a Foreign Work Authorisation (FWA) in order to perform this role. This is not a requirement set or determined by Boeing but by the Department of Defence under laws issued in 2024. Please refer to the Department of Defence website to understand these requirements.
