BoeingCommercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Quality Manager (Level K) based out of North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift to support Quality Assurance Investigations(QAI).

The ideal candidate will be a reliable professional who possesses the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries. The candidate will be a problem-solver who relies heavily on data and analysis to drive decisions and a leader who can effectively implement solutions in an ever-evolving environment. Transformational leadership skills will be necessary to build team engagement and lead quality team members in implementing key initiatives including Defect Reduction and Lean Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will exhibit resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements in an established and regulated production and quality system.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing South Carolina (BSC).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams to execute safety, quality, delivery and cost commitments/targets

  • 5+ years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality

  • 5+ years of experience working with and supporting the Quality Management System (QMS)

  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams

  • 5+ years of experience in collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication

  • 5+ years of leadership experience

  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 787 Program experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Summary pay range: $112,200 - $151,800
