The Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems (SI & WS) division of Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a high performing Mid-Level or Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP & A) Analyst to join the team in Hazelwood, MO or Huntsville, AL.
This exciting role offers the opportunity partner with program analysts and senior leadership across multiple functions, as well as lead and support the financial processes including LRBP, Forecasts and Opportunity & Risk Management. This role supports the Strategic Missile & Defense Systems (SMDS) sub-division and reports to the SI & WS FP & A Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
Designated as the key finance focal for the SMDS sub-division
Leads the development and consolidation of the SMDS LRBP and monthly forecast the business or programs
Develops executive-level presentations for SMDS Leadership Team
Establishes partnerships and relationships with program leadership, peers and functional leaders
Leads integration and analysis of complex integrated financial statement forecasts for SMDS
Leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of financial performance to senior management
Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
Leads the development of complex business cases and ad hoc analysis
Provides subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determines root cause and recommends solutions
Creates a culture of continuous improvement by communicating/deploying enterprise best practices and employee engagement to improve quality, cost, delivery and customer satisfaction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in a finance related position
3+ years of financial analysis experience
Experience with forecasting and developing long range business plans
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to manage data from multiple programs and consolidate
Experience making recommendations to senior leaders for financial decisions

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Level 3 Summary pay range: $79,050 - $106,950
Level 4 Summary pay range: $99,450 - $134,550
