The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Modification Electrician to support the F-15 program at Kingsley Air National Guard Base in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The F-15 Advanced Display Core Processor II/Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System (ADCP/MIDS) Modification Program is a multi-aircraft program in support of the Unites States Air National Guard and United States Air Force. This position will perform depot level modification and repair of electrical wiring.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.

  • Ability and understanding of routing instructions and handling of harnesses.

  • Perform efforts associated with sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processes.

  • Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repair. Experienced in the use of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of electrical wiring.

  • Experienced in the use of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts.

  • Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of aircraft/maintenance safety, tool control, FOD, and quality programs/standards

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active interim US Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. (ACTIVE INTERIM PRE-START AND FINAL POST START)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years of recent electrical modification experience

  • 5 years of experience working with various forms of engineering and technical information such as modifications drawings, engineering dispositions, technical orders, parts/kits

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Military electrical modification experience

  • Fighter electrical modification experience

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation:  

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense

Domestic Temporary Assignment authorized if personnel live outside working radius of 75 miles
