Seeking a Level 3 Mission Operations Specialist to support Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) Program in Ft Greely, AK.
Participates in activities to plan and execute mission operations for command, control, communications, computing, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems.
Operations Site Controller for the Ground-based Mid-course Defense (GMD) program at the Fort Greely, Alaska location.
The operations site controller maintains configuration control of the GMD system supporting the Missile Defense Agency and war-fighter community.
The controller works with a team geographically spread across the world with coordination leadership at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center located at Schriever AFB, Colorado.Configures operational systems and monitors system and subsystem performance.
Develops and applies operational procedures, support requirements, checklists and tools required to control and operate systems.
Assists in system maintenance activities.
Investigates and analyzes maintenance requirements, questions and concerns.
Works under general direction.

This position requires an active Current Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and typically 6 or more years related work experience, a Masters degree and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):
·1 year or more experience working with a government customer
·1 year or more experience working in a Command and Control Center
·1 year or more planning and executing aircraft/vehicle maintenance activities
·Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
·Controllers work Mon.-Fri., first and second shifts
· Prior Military Service
