Join us and you can build something better for yourself for our customers and for the world.Relocation:No relocation availableExport Control Requirement:Safety Sensitive:This is not a safety sensitive positionContingent Upon Award ProgramThis position is not contingent upon program awardJob Description Qualifications:The E-4B Senior ServiceTechnical Analyst for this organization will be part of a team providing sustainment and modification support to the USAF to help maintain and sustain its fleet of Boeing E-4B aircraft located in Offutt AFB NE. The successful candidate will evaluate aircraft Mission Systems and flight deck avionics systems and component performance to identify issues and potential improvements; resolve a wide array of technical and operational issues; provide form training to Air Force operations and maintenance personnel; and work closely with the Air Force customer to ensure the safe operation of the fleet.Responsibilities:Provide engineering support as requested by the USAF Customer by maintaining monitoring and troubleshooting E-4B Mission Avionics and Navigational Equipment at the Systems Level.Research and analyze Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Service Literature and provide recommendations tailored to the fleet.Research develop and provide solutions to improve system performance and increase operational availability.Provide technical expertise for the E-4B mission systems. Maintain system knowledge to the lowest possible level to meet customer requirements.Proactively monitor and critique modification designs to mitigate adverse effects on the overall mission system performance.Evaluate mission system deficiencies develop solutions and provide recommendations.Provide system engineering support to other teams to resolve issues encountered during sustainment and modification efforts.Provide support to the Technical Order Team by reviewing proposed changes for all Technical Orders associated with the Mission Equipment and Avionics.Provide support to Supplier Management with Technical Evaluation to support procurement and repair activityThis position requires an activeSecret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this positionBasicQualifications (Required Skills and Experience):5+ years of experience in Radio Frequency (RF) or communication systems analysis3+ years of experience with networks and network communication protocols5+ years experience with the E-4B aircraft10+ years in avionics engineeringPreferred Qualifications (Desired Experience ):10+ Field Service experienceExcellent working knowledge of Air Force programs and proceduresExcellent written communication skillsExperience with US Government logistics and supply chain systems and procedures.Troubleshooting and maintainingFiber Optic NetworksTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years related work experience 14 years related work experience etc.).Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
