Boeing Brazil is seeking a Mid-Career Technical Specialist Engineer, reporting to the Business Operations Manager, working out of the São José Dos Campos office.
The Mid-Career Technical Specialist Engineer will be the engineering specialist of a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) responsible for providing technical support and guidance to engineering teams in the effective use of engineering processes and CAD/CAM tools.

This position aligns with the Global End User Support team and connects with an existing network of Engineering Processes and Tools experts across the U.S. and Global Design Centers. Their efforts ensure full collaboration, knowledge sharing, and effectiveness across the entire engineering value stream.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Documenting issues in the Global Service Engagement Platform (GSEP).
  • Provide first-line support for engineering tools and processes, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist users in navigating and effectively utilizing engineering software and tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify process and tool improvements, and gather user feedback (surveys) for continuous service enhancements.
  • Work closely with IT and engineering teams to ensure tools are functioning correctly and meet user needs.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to test and validate existing end-to-end workflows and new capabilities before deployment in production.
  • Create and maintain job aid content with tips and tricks to improve end-user productivity.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
  • Must have a degree in Engineering.
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Experience with multiple engineering processes and tools related to electrical engineering and overall Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Proficiency in multiple tools such as: REDARS/CATIA V5/ENOVIA/IVT/CAMEO/DOORS/PDM/ITRACS/CSDT/ETAC.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
