Boeing Poland is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team located in Rzeszów, Poland.

The successful candidate will manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Production Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops project plans, directs all project phases, and acts as primary customer contact for project activities

  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion

  • Implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as a liaison between project and team, finance, sourcing, and scheduling

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports

  • Manages via project deliverables, all technical and functional staff assigned to the project

  • Uses Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) to develop a robust operating and reporting rhythm for programs to ensure a successful outcome

  • Identify and manage actively opportunities, risks, and issues to ensure effective resolution or mitigation, and coordinate required activities to ensure successful delivery

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel

  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team

  • Identify and manage project dependencies and the associated critical path(s)

  • Plan, schedule and manage project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools

  • Track and report project status relative to the approved business case and scope, with transparency and insight into the overall health of the project

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and Presentations

  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and investigate problem areas

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans

  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle

  • Effectively run Project meetings from project kick-off to Post-implementation Review ensuring all stakeholders meet their
    responsibilities

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes

  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualification (Preferred Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing environment

  • 2+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • Extensive Project Management experience

  • Highly competent in using MS Office products in general

  • Solid communicator, fluent in both written and verbal English

Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills/Experience) :

  • 1+ years of experience with machine shop processes

  • 1+ years of experience with working and detail and assembly parts
