Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced orSenior Production Support Specialist to join the Shipside SupportTeam based out of Portland, Oregon. This position is available for our 1st shift.

This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that works together to meet our customers needs with quality, speed, and efficiency. As a member of this team, you will continuously develop and manage the structure to enable the pace and performance of the Line Side Control Center teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Provides expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues
  • Utilizes tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure resolve of production issues
  • Facilitates ongoing coordination and tracking of open items
  • Analyzes and interprets data
  • Provides feedback on assessment results
  • Assist organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issues
  • Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address reoccurring and high impact issues
  • Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates
  • Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • 1+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment
  • 1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
  • Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Experienced (Level 3): $81,900 - $100,100

Senior (Level 4): $98,100 - $116,000
