Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Entry-Level GeneralMaintenance Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Hertford, NC.

We are looking for an upbeat individual looking to grow and expand their skills in an apprentice type role. You will be asked to work alongside other highly skilled technicians and be hard-working to become equally as versatile. We will help you to become the best you can be within our organization. Your skills will help to make us a better, and more effective team.

Position Responsibilities:

• Use basic knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures
• Demonstrate increased skill level in construction to include rough-in and lay-out, under supervision
• Provide general support in response to routine trouble calls
• Demonstrate increased skill level in the repair and maintenance of plant and office facilities
• Use hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair facilities and equipment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Customer Service experience
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions
• Current valid driver’s license
• Capable of lifting 35lbs on a frequent basis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience using Microsoft Office tools
• Facilities, Maintenance or Construction experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $40,800 - $55,200
