Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Planning and Scheduling (IP & S) Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to join the Attack Helicopter Programs in Mesa, Arizona.

The candidate must have demonstrated analytical capability and excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with a variety of stakeholders. The candidate must be a proactive self-starter and work well within a team environment.

Flexibility, initiative, detail orientation, ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new areas are essential requirements to successfully perform in this dynamic and exciting environment.

Position Responsibilities – Associate Level 2:

  • Preparation, development, and coordination of integrated plans and team schedules to meet program and/or project requirements.
  • Development of program plans and schedules, and coordinates with affected organizations, documents, work statements and resulting schedules.
  • Produces and analyzes metrics for plans and schedules
  • Integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functions, product groups, suppliers, and partners of moderate complexity.
  • Identifies, reports and analyzes performance variances.
  • Develops schedules and supports change incorporation plans related to Integrated
  • Scheduling products
  • Reviews proposed changes to the baseline

Position Responsibilities – Experienced Level 3:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management and/or business operations role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Professional, Primavera, etc.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Associate Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years related work experience, 7 years related work experience, etc.)

Experienced Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
