We are currently seeking an Mid-Career Safety and Airworthiness Support Analyst to join our dynamic and experienced Safety and Airworthiness team in Brazil.

This role will administratively support safety and certification initiatives leveraging Boeing ODA’S and following the requirements in our Boeing Procedures Manual (BPM), interfacing with a wide network of design engineering teams, support organizations, Cert Plan Owners, Engineering Unit Members, Safety and Airworthiness focals, and the Enterprise Regulatory Administration & Airworthiness (RA & A).

Project management skills and the ability to communicate with interfacing teams and multilevel leadership are also important for the role. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly and develop/communicate recovery plans. Provide direct and timely visibility to Management of status of certification and safety efforts.

Successful candidates will have the ability to develop solutions and gain consensus, an aptitude for operating in a dynamic environment, knowledge of project management, and certification processes. The position requires the ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical issues with internal and external customers. Excellent project management, time management, scheduling, delegating and planning along with multi-tasking skills are required. Teaming, technical, and integration skills are also required. Initiative to actively engage with the value stream team members will be necessary to continually identify and implement quality and process improvements.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Identify, support, and manage the appointment and expansion processes of E-UMs and ensure their understanding of their roles and responsibilities as an ODA Unit Member in the certification value stream.

  • Interfacing and coordinating with multiple organizations and business units, BCA, BDS, BGS, Cert Leaders, groups within RA & A, as well as the FAA.

  • Leads organizing, supporting, enhancing, and facilitating execution of safety, regulatory, and airworthiness activities, processes, and tools.

  • Leads monitoring, tracking, and facilitating integration for safety, certification and regulatory processes and activities.

  • Leads compiling, retrieving, and summarizing materials and data for technical briefings, reviews, and correspondence.

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement to safety and regulatory activities, processes, and tools.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil

  • Must have a Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences, Business Administration or Engineering

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language

  • Experience in project management

  • Experience in end to end process management and stakeholders integration.  

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • MBA in Project Management

  • Experience in aerospace and aerospace interiors
