Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production and Inventory Coordinator(Expedite Stores) to join the 2nd BSC SC MS & Paint Ops Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable shift.

Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc. Monitors and analyzes work in process. Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems. Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability. Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under limited supervision

Position Responsibilities:

  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc

  • Monitors and analyzes work in process

  • Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems

  • Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability

  • Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy

  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays

  • Works under limited supervision

  • All other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience of 787 Operations or manufacturing experience

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently

  • Able and willing to work 3/36 shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12 hours each day)

  • Ability to work a Variable shift

  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift

  • Must maintain all necessary certifications up to date to perform the job

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with the ERPLN application

  • Experience working with KITS (Kit Integration Tracking System)

  • Experience working with (SAT) Shipside Action Tracker

  • Experience working with One BPS (One Boeing Production System)

Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Companys Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Shift: 

This position is for a variable shift (shift 4). Variable shift means you will be assigned a shift at the time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on your assigned work shift until a re-evaluation is required. Shifts assigned for training may differ from your permanent work shift.
