Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First-Line Product and Service Quality Manager (Level K) to support the Emergent Operations Quality Team in Auburn, Washington on 2nd shift.

the selected candidate will be responsible for the EO Quality teams located in Auburn. This team is engaged in machining and manufacturing operations of production parts including emergent Airplane Program support in the form of BlueStreak, part manufacturing and finishing processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years inspection or Quality experience or production experience in a manufacturing or engineering role

  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a production environment

  • 1+ years of experience in developing and implementing process improvements

  • 1+ years of experience managing direct reports

  • Willing and able to work 2nd Shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)

  • 1+ years of experience performing Material Review Board (MRB) product review

  • Ability to identify, plan, develop, and execute business plans and technical strategies

  • Ability to coach teammates on business plans, technical strategies, and help develop their problem-solving skills

Summary Pay Range: $115,600-156,400
