The Boeing Company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Test Program Integration Engineer to join our team in Long Beach, CA. This role is critical in supporting the development and execution of test programs, ensuring that all testing activities are effectively integrated and aligned with project goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test program management, risk management and depth in Line Replaceable Units (LRU) test equipment requirements.

This Test Program Integration role offers a unique look into the test assets that are not specific to one type of BDS, BCA or BGS product. The Boeing Test & Evaluation Team in Long Beach supports many areas and many projects across the Boeing Enterprise. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior Level Test Program Integration Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Development Support: Collaborate with engineering teams to lead the development of work statements, requirements, and estimates for the lab team in Long Beach, specifically supporting C-17, AvionX, and commercial aircraft statement of work

  • Work Placement: Perform work placement determinations to ensure that testing processes are efficiently organized and executed

  • Equipment Procurement: Identify and assist with management of necessary testing equipment to support program objectives

  • Equipment Fabrication: Identify and assist with management of necessary build and fabrication requirements, ensuring that all components, planning, specifications and quality standards are met

  • Test Development Documentation: Capture requirements that outline testing strategies and methodologies

  • Test Execution: Ensure requirements and resource needs are known to support execution of tests according to established procedures, and in adherence with safety and quality standards

  • Anomaly Disposition and Resolution: Ensure test execution results are documented, including any anomalies or issues encountered during testing.  Participating in and/or leading the evaluation, disposition, and resolution of any problem reports or anomalies.

  • Sustaining Support: Provide ongoing support and participate in strategy discussions around test station sustaining support

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 2+ years of experience with project management and/or integration

  • 2+ years of financial acumen experience with understanding and applying financial metrics to assess the viability of business cases

  • 3+ years of experience with test program design, test procedure development, and test execution

  • 3+ years of experience supporting product testing either in the flight or lab test environment

  • 2+ years of experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 4: 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 4+ years of Project management integration experience

  • 4+ years of Finance understanding

  • 6+ years of Experience in test

  • Experience with Aircraft Avionics

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • CAM experience

  • Rack build planning, fabrication or design experience
