The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Safety Specialist to join the team in Renton, WA

The 737 Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team is looking for a Safety Specialist to provide support for the 737-production system. As part of the EHS team you will support health and safety initiatives, projects and compliance, providing influence and decision making throughout the site.

 Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the planning, implementation and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes

  • Drafts health and safety programs that provide consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance

  • Investigates safety and health incidents and complaints

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher in a safety related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio-Engineering, Public Health, etc.)

  • 1+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals

  • Project Management experience

Summary pay range: $80,750 - $109,250
